MOVING PERSPECTIVES BELOW ZERO
In dieser Arbeit berührt Noa Wertheim eine der weltgrößten ökologischen Gefahren, die immer aktueller am tiefsten Punkt der Erde, dem Toten Meer, auftauchen.
Da der Mensch fortfährt, von der Natur zu nehmen – spirituell und materiell – versucht Noah, diesen Kreis zu stoppen, indem sie ein Bewußtsein für das Tote Meer schafft. Die Tänzer steigen vom Land auf, verbinden sich mit ihm und miteinander. Sie bewegen sich, hören den Rhythmus, umarmen das Land, reichen an die Wurzeln.
Kameramann Elad Debi formte die Bewegung und durch die Bearbeitung von Gal Katzir werden die Bilder wie in einem Kaleidoskop gebrochen. Sie erweitern damit die Fragilität der Erde, die in Gefahr ist!

In this work Noa Wertheim touches one of the world’s ecological hazards that is occurring rapidly at the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea.
As man continues to take from nature, spiritually and materially, Noah seeks to stop this cycle by bringing awareness to the Dead Sea. The dancers rise from the land, connect to it and to each other. They move listening to the rhythm around them, embracing the land, reaching roots.
Cinematograher Elad Debi sculptures the movement and through the edition of Gal Katzir the frames are broken as in a kaleidoscope, enhancing the fragility of the land that is in danger.
